Fox & Friends Celebrates Daniel Penny’s Weekend Appearance With Trump: ‘They Both Fought a System’
Fox & Friends Sunday co-hosts celebrated the Army-Navy game appearance of newly-acquitted Daniel Penny this weekend, calling his photo-op with President-elect Donald Trump “very symbolic.”
A Manhattan jury found Penny, a former Marine, not guilty of criminally-negligent homicide when he subdued 30-year old Jordan Neely on a New York subway train after claiming that Neely was acting erratically.
Co-host Rachel Campos-Duffy claimed Trump sent “an important message” by showing up to the game and hosting Penny in his suite.
“That was really an important message, and I tell you, we’re on the, every day, we’re closer to World War III,” Campos-Duffy said, continuing:
And I think everybody at that game and everybody in the military feels a little better about Donald Trump, who has said, repeatedly, that he is a man of peace. There was never a war started under his presidency — under when he was president. When all of the trouble brewed in Syria — which, by the way, we partially caused — he said, “We shouldn’t get involved. We don’t need another war.” So I think that’s reassuring.
But I think the most important photo that happened during that game was with Daniel Penny because I think Daniel Penny and Donald Trump both fought a system and a “woke mind virus”, as Elon Musk likes to call it. And, I think that photo right there is very powerful. Two people who fought the justice system, fought liberal ideology, and an effort to take them down, and came out ahead. I think that is very symbolic of this new page that we’re turning.
Also present in Trump’s suite at Northwest Stadium in Maryland for the 125th Army-Navy game were Tulsi Gabbard, Trump’s pick for Director of National Intelligence; House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA); DOGE’s Vivek Ramaswamy; and Trump’s FBI director pick, Kash Patel.
