Comedian Jay Leno revealed multiple serious injuries he sustained from after a recent fall from a 60-foot hill in Pennsylvania.

According to a report from Inside Edition’s Jim Moret, Leno was about 30 miles outside of Pittsburgh to do a show. While walking to a restaurant prior to a show, Leno tried to take a shortcut down a hill as opposed to walking over a mile down the road.

As a result of the fall, Leno’s left eye was swollen and the entire left side of his face was bruised. He also broke his right wrist and lost the nail on his right middle finger.

“I said, ‘Well, the hill doesn’t look that steep,'” Leno recalled thinking to himself, “‘Let me take a–‘”
Leno said he immediately began tumbling down the hill. Still, he was at his show just three hours later with an eye patch and his face half-bruised. Days later, he was in Beverly Hills, California, for another show.

As noted by Moret, Leno is no stranger to these freak injuries. In November 2022, the comedian was burned from a fire in his garage. He received skin grafts and hyperbaric therapy at a burn center in Los Angeles.

“It’ll be fine,” Leno said of his latest mishap. “I’m not worried about it.”
