WOW! Watch Tiger Woods’s Son Charlie Make a Hole-in-One During Tournament With His Dad

Could the next Tiger Woods be … the son of Tiger Woods?

Charlie Woods, the 15-year-old son of the golf legend, dazzled the gallery by making a hole-in-one on Sunday morning at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, FL. It happened on the 4th hole during the final round of the PNC Championship — a tournament at which Tiger teams up with his son annually. Charlie stepped up to the tee, flushed a 7-iron just a few feet shy of the hole, and then watched the ball roll into the cup.

Tiger proceeded to give his son a big hug — as Golf Channel announcer Steve Sands noted Tiger actually took his eye of the ball and missed the big moment.

“His father was actually not watching!” Sands said.

The ace was not a fluke for Charlie Woods — who is an accomplished junior golfer. He competed in the U.S. Junior Amateur championship earlier this year, and has been dazzling galleries at the PNC Championship — a tournament at which golf greats compete with their children — since he was 11.

At a press conference Friday, Tiger revealed that Charlie actually bested him during a recent round — albeit with an important caveat.

“Yeah, he beat me for nine holes,” Woods said. “He has yet to beat me for 18 holes. That day is coming; I’m just prolonging it for as long as I possibly can.”
