‘Moh Bility!’ Keegan-Michael Key Cracks Up During Live College Football Playoff Coverage Over Classic Key & Peele Homage

Comedian and actor Keegan-Michael Key helped bring a classic Key & Peele skit back to life on Saturday morning during the pre-game coverage of Penn State’s College Football Playoff game against SMU.

The first iteration of the skit was aired by Comedy Central over a decade ago and featured Key and his then-cohort Jordan Peele portraying football players with absurd names.

The pair unveiled names such as Hingle McCringleberry, Xmus Jaxon Flaxon-Waxon, Donkey Teeth, The Player Formerly Known As Mousecop, and Scoish Velociraptor Maloish.

In the years since the skit became a fan favorite, universities have recruited some talented players with some very unique names. The University of Alabama alone started Ha Ha Clinton-Dix and Kool-Aid McKinstry – both who went on to play in the NFL.

On TNT on Saturday, Key was asked to weigh in on the names of two players with the “best names” who are currently on college rosters – Rice cornerback Moh Bililty and Louisiana–Monroe quarterback General Booty.

Bility barely edged out Booty for the most interesting name, which Key agreed with, citing the “cleverness” of the player’s name.

As for Booty, Key said of the 22-year-old, “First of all, if you’re gonna name your kid General, he better succeed.”

The first round of the expanded 12-yeat College Football playoff kicked off Friday night when Notre Dame defeated Indiana 27-17.

After Saturday’s game in State College, Texas will host Clemson in Austin at 4 p.m. ET. Ohio State will host Tennessee in Columbus to close out the first round.

Arizona State, Boise State, Georgia, and Oregon all received first-round byes. The College Football Playoff National Championship will air on ESPN on Jan. 20.
