ESPN Analyst Torches Aaron Rodgers Amid Jets QB’s Ongoing Feud with On-Air Personalities: ‘Self-Absorbed to the Absolute Maximum’

ESPN analyst Dan Graziano went off on Aaron Rodgers on Friday after the New York Jets quarterback repeatedly called out the network’s on-air talent.

Rodgers has been at odds with a number of ESPN personalities — including Ryan Clark — after he criticized the current state of sports media. Clark called him a fraud in response, and Rodgers fired back with a quip about Clark getting the Covid-19 vaccine.

As if the Jets didn’t already have enough on their plate, a recent report from The Athletic revealed the extent of the organization’s internal chaos during what has been a disastrous season.

When it was suggested that the recent report could take some of the heat off of Rodgers, Graziano explained why that would be a mistake by the Jets.

“If the effect of this story is that the organization decides that, ‘Well, it could be worse. Like, Aaron Rodgers isn’t so bad because look at all this other goofiness that’s going on above him,'” Graziano said on Unsportsmanlike, “then the Jets are in bigger trouble than I thought because Aaron Rodgers is a con artist, he is a narcissist, he is self-absorbed to the absolute maximum; and if he has you fooled — again — that’s on you.”

“If the Jets go back to Aaron Rodgers next year, they deserve what they get and it will not be good. They know this. They’ve lived it for the last 2 years. Like, this is not the answer,” he continued. “If some team wants to do that, too bad for them; but if the team that it just happened to wants it to happen to them again, then there’s no fixing that. That’s just dumb.”
