Comedian Nikki Glaser joined The Howard Stern Show on Monday to reveal some of the jokes that had to be cut from her already-controversial Golden Globes monologue.
Glaser hosted the award show Sunday and came out firing at just about anyone and anything in the world of show business. The comedian ribbed a handful of the nominees, joking that the movie Challengers was “more sexually charged than Diddy’s credit card.”
Considering the material that did make it onto the show, one might be surprised to hear that CBS did have a limit. While in Stern’s studio, Glaser told a few jokes that apparently went beyond that limit.
There was another joke about Diddy and his ongoing sex trafficking case:
And think of it: this is the last time all of you will be in the same room together until the Diddy trial.
Glaser also wanted to take aim at actor Adrien Brody, who was nominated for his performance as Jewish architect Laszlo Toth in the movie The Brutalist.
“Oh look, it’s two-time Holocaust survivor Adrien Brody,” Glaser continued. “Because he’s been in two Holocaust films. And I said, ‘You know, if Adrien Brody could go back in time, he would thank baby Hitler for his career.'”
Stern burst into laughter and told Glaser, “I like that!”
She also mentioned the Daniel Craig-led movie Queer, joking that it’s “
That was one Glaser wished made the show.
“I really liked that one,” she added.
Glaser calls her collection of unused jokes “the Stern file,” saving the ones deemed too controversial for TV so they can see the light of day on Stern’s radio show.
