Trump Posts Stalkery Through-Window Video of an Unsuspecting Kamala Harris Yawning

Former President Donald Trump raised some eyebrows when he posted a 10-second clip shot through a window of an unsuspecting Vice President Kamala Harris yawning on Thursday.

The short video clip featured a nursery rhyme-style music bed and big red letters that read, “KAMALA IS LOW ENERGY!” and was posted by Trump on his various social media accounts Thursday afternoon. The post comes the day after Trump insisted that he would continue to try to protect women from violent crimes perpetrated by undocumented immigrants.

“Well, I’m going to do it whether the women like it or not,” he said during a Green Bay, Wisconsin rally on Wednesday. “I’ve gotta protect them. I’m gonna protect them from migrants coming in. I’m gonna protect them from foreign countries that wanna hit us with missiles and lots of other things.”

The video of Harris amplified by Trump on Thursday, however, was shot through a window of what looked to be either a helicopter or airplane, and Harris was completely unaware that a camera was on her. Her yawing was ostensibly the reason behind Trump’s “low energy” attack.

In many ways, this should come as no surprise coming from from Trump. But there is no question it is a uniquely crass and bad-form way to attack one’s political opponent. Frankly stated, it’s a dick move, but nothing shocking from a guy known for publicly mocking women’s plastic surgery.

Given the Dobbs’ decision’s repeal of Roe v Wade and the growing gender gap, it’s not clear how posting a surreptitiously shot video of a woman privately yawning will help Trump’s efforts to curry women voters, but it may deflect criticism he received for what some saw as a very low energy closing argument event at Mar-a-Lago Tuesday morning:
