‘Worst Pick In The World!’ Ex-GOP Lt. Gov. Trashes Trump’s ‘Unhinged’ Matt Gaetz Nomination

CNN contributor Geoff Duncan, also the former Republican lieutenant governor of Georgia, trashed President-elect Donald Trump’s “unhinged” cabinet nominations as “historically the worst” and Attorney General choice Matt Gaetz as the “worst pick in the world.”

Duncan, who emerged as a vocal critic of Trump, slammed the president-elect’s rhetoric on the campaign trail, which he said had driven him to support the Democratic bid for the presidency.

On Thursday night on NewsNight With Abby Phillip, he did not hold back in his assessment of the emerging cabinet and slammed not just Trump’s choices but also his ” decision-making” process.

Been probably historically the worst group of nominees. For me, it‘s more about a peek into Donald Trump‘s thought process, his decision making. We have seen the warning signs. We have heard the 911 calls from those closest to him that have seen how he makes these decisions. He is unhinged with how he is going about this.

Matt Gaetz is the worst pick in the world for attorney general. If you are a family trying to seek justice because your loved one has been murdered, because your business has been fleeced, and you are counting on the Department of Justice getting it right, Matt Gaetz is the worst person in the country to head up that organization.
