‘Mask the Anger’: Twitter Had Plenty to Say About Mel Gibson’s Appearance at the Oscars
Mel Gibson is at the Oscars tonight, and the presence of the actor/filmmaker got a lot of negative reactions on Twitter due to his history of controversy.
Gibson is attending the awards for his film, Hacksaw Ridge, and his closeness to the stage has netted him a lot of camera time so far. Jimmy Kimmel made a few lighthearted jokes about Gibson during his opening monologue, though it seems that the Twitterverse isn’t nearly as chuffed to see the star of Braveheart:
