Trump Names Truth Social CEO Devin Nunes to Lead Presidential Intelligence Advisory Board
President-elect Donald Trump named former congressman and current Truth Social CEO Devin Nunes to serve in the upcoming administration as chairman of the Presidential Intelligence Advisory Board.
Nunes is a longtime defender of Trump especially during his tenure as a California lawmakers where he led the House Intelligence Committee during Trump’s first term. Currently, Nunes serves as the chief executive officer of Trump’s social media platform Truth Social app, and a frequent surrogate on campaign and other issues.
“I am pleased to announce that I will appoint Truth Social CEO Devin Nunes as Chairman of the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board, which consists of distinguished citizens from outside of the Federal Government,” Trump wrote his followers on Saturday.

While serving in Congress as committee chair, Nunes claimed that the FBI had colluded against Trump during the 2016 Russian interference investigation.
He added, “While continuing his leadership of Trump Media & Technology Group, Devin will draw on his experience as former Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, and his key role in exposing the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax, to provide me with independent assessments of the effectiveness and propriety of the U.S. Intelligence Community’s activities.”
The intelligence advisory board is a panel that answers to the White House and offers the president independent assessments about his intelligence agencies.
