As Iranian Missiles Rain Down On Israel Piers Morgan Weighs In Over Lack Of Restraint — By Israel

Journalist Piers Morgan on Saturday weighed in on the issue of restraint as missiles were raining down on Israel and hundreds of suicide drones launched from Iran were still attacking, saying restraint must be shown — by Israel.

On Saturday Iran launched a massive, direct air attack on Israel involving hundreds of missiles and drones, some of which made it through Israeli and allied defenses, according to the IDF.

“A short while ago, dozens of surface-to-surface missile launches from Iran were identified approaching Israeli territory. The IDF Aerial Defense Array successfully intercepted the majority of the launches using the ‘Arrow’ Aerial Defense System, together with Israel’s strategic allies, before the launches crossed into Israeli territory,” said the IDF in a statement on Saturday night. “A small number of hits were identified, including at an IDF base in southern Israel, where minor damage was caused to infrastructure.”

“Over the past few hours, many dozens of hostile aircraft, as well as dozens of cruise missiles, from Iran were identified approaching Israeli territory and intercepted,” it said. “Dozens of IAF fighter jets are currently operating to intercept all aerial threats approaching Israeli territory.”

During the time that those attacks were ongoing, the Piers Morgan Uncensored host tweeted that Israel “must show restraint” but that he fears Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu won’t do so.

The tweet met with some criticism.

Morgan previously tangled with former MSNBC contributor Mehdi Hasan over whether or not the latter considers Hamas to be terrorists.

A monologue delivered by the host on Piers Morgan Uncensored critical of Israel also went viral in December.
