Michael Moore raged at the “pro-Netanyahu crowd” in a holiday message posted to Substack in which he asked what number of dead will satisfy their “lust for blood.”

Posted on Christmas, Moore’s message was mainly a remembrance of Nahida Khalil Anton, a 70-year-old Palestinian Catholic, and her 50-year-old daughter, Samar Kamal Anton. The two were killed inside of Gaza in December of last year outside the Holy Family Church in Gaza. The IDF has repeatedly denied accusations that an Israeli sniper was behind the killing of the two women.

Pope Francis called for an end to the war and condemned the murder of civilians just a day after the women were killed.

“Some say, ‘This is terrorism. This is war.’ Yes, it is war. It is terrorism,” the pope said.

“I know this is a day we’d rather focus on happier things,” Moore wrote about the deceased women. “Or perhaps the purpose of today is exactly this: Peace on Earth, Good Will to those that are Oppressed and living under Occupation.”

Moore, a vocal critic of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, asked the “pro-Netanyahu” crowd how many on top of the tens of thousands that have died in Gaza need to be killed to satisfy a “thirst for revenge” and “lust for blood.”

Netanyahu has vowed that the Israeli-Hamas war will never end until the terrorist group — which launched a barbaric attack on Israeli civilians last October — is completely eliminated.

“One last request of the pro-Netanyahu crowd — the death toll of the innocents murdered in Gaza and the West Bank is now nearing 50,000 — the vast, vast majority of them babies, children, women and the elderly — can you please just give me a number as to when your thirst for revenge/blood will be satiated?” Moore wrote. “Of the 1,200 slaughtered by Hamas fighters on 10/7/23, how many more Palestinian civilians need to be executed? I know there has to be a number. Would another 100,000 do? A million? Just give us a number so we’ll know when this can end.”

The filmmaker argued Americans could be as justified bombing a foreign country to avenge crimes by migrants, including the recent killing of a woman who was set on fire in a New York City subway. Sebastian Zapeta-Calil, the 33-year-old undocumented migrant, was charged with the murder.

“And how many people can we Americans go kill in Guatemala tonight so we can avenge the death of the woman on the NYC subway last week who died when that Guatemalan migrant set her body on fire? Would it not be righteous for us to just drop an atomic bomb on Guatemala and wipe ‘em all out?” Moore wrote. “I want blood! I want the blood of Guatemalans dripping from my mouth! Justice! Revenge! More murder! Yes!!!! Oh, it feels soooo good during the holidays!”
