Pro-Trump Right Celebrates UFC Fighter for Shocking Comments About Gay People: ‘We LOVE YOU!!!!’
Sean Strickland’s comments on the LGBTQ community have proven to be incredibly divisive, with some criticizing the UFC star and others – notably on the right – supporting him.
Ahead of his Saturday bout against South African fighter Dricus Du Plessis, Strickland spoke at a press conference and became contentious toward a reporter. The reporter asked Strickland about previous comments he made about gay and trans people, prompting him to go on an expletive-filled tirade bashing the groups.
While some people, including sports pundit Mike Ryan, have ripped Strickland for the obscene rant, some have praised him. According to the latter group, Strickland is “fighting back” against movements to support people that aren’t heterosexual.
It’s time to fight back like this guy !!! https://t.co/9hGUgIlPJj

Alex Jones even suggested that Strickland be Donald Trump’s vice president in the event that he wins the election in 2024.

The comments from Strickland shouldn’t come as a surprise. The 32-year-old has been open about his past as a neo-Nazi, saying the movie America History X led to him “worshipping” the ideology. He was even kicked out of school for hate crimes.
Strickland blames his rough childhood for the fact that was easily drawn into the ideology as a kid, but now claims he no longer harbors those views.
