X Locks Out Reporter and Suppresses Spectator Article on Owner Elon Musk Sock Puppet Rumor
A writer for The Spectator World had her account limited for writing an article confirming Elon Musk is not using a sock puppet account under the name Adrian Dittman.
Journalist Jacqueline Sweet published an article with The Spectator confirming that the Tesla Billionaire is not posting under the Dittman account in order to praise himself or back-up his own arguments.
Recently, Dittman’s name has gone viral in X Spaces, live audio conversations on X, for sounding similar to Musk. Some users began to speculate that he actually was Musk using a different account defending himSELF on X Spaces throughout the platform.
However, Sweet’s reporting not only confirms that Dittman is not Musk but that he is “a German Musk fan living in Fiji.”
The Spectator confirmed information regarding Dittman’s identity through an analysis of his posts, social media, AI art, and comments Dittman’s made on Spaces. Sweet’s also posted a screenshot of Dittman’s face that she uncovered from a Fijian government video posted on YouTube.
After the article was published Musk responded by writing on X, “I am Adrian Dittmann. It’s time the world knew.” However, the original post of the article is currently unavailable and Sweet’s X account is limited from posting for the next month.
According to screenshots obtained by Spectator World Managing Editor Matt McDonald, Sweet is barred from making posts on her account for 30 days for “doxxing.”
it appears that @JSweetLI has had her @x account restricted for her @TheSpectator reporting into @AdrianDittmann not being an @elonmusk alt account… https://t.co/EYQ9Xfyrkj pic.twitter.com/GyPdcq1Lfq

Moreover, a warning appears on X when users attempt to click a link to the article stating that it “may unsafe” because of “violent or misleading content.”
After Sweet’s suspension, some users celebrated the punishment while others criticized X for suppressing the article. Previously, Musk condemned Twitter leadership for suppressing the New York Post article regarding Hunter Biden’s laptop during the 2020 election.
This is crazy. @JSweetLI’s account got locked by @X for 30 days for “doxing”
What did she do?
She said a guy named Adrian Dittman really is Adrian Dittman & not Elon Musk (people thought Musk was using Dittman as an alt)
And even @elonmusk made light of it! https://t.co/QXqAZbSY3g pic.twitter.com/u4sF0ed5a6

Don’t say anything bad about Elon it’s against the rules. https://t.co/AcMNbZ8wNq

.@elonmusk, her account has been suspended temporarily for 30 days. Don’t you think a permanent suspension is the best course of action, given that the doxxing was very much intentional and may have led to the physical harm?
I don’t think 30 day ban is going to achieve anything… pic.twitter.com/ahfEiAgPb5

No further comments from Musk had been posted at the time of this article being published, but the post may be updated if Musk adds more.
UPDATE: After time of publication it became impossible to share the link in a new tweet, but existing tweets still have the link with a warning.
