Podcast host Joe Rogan revealed that his interview with Vice President Kamala Harris was still on the table but that he had refused to comply with the campaign team’s terms for a potential interview on The Joe Rogan Experience.

Though talks between the two camps continue, Rogan insists on having Harris join him in his Austin, Texas, studio rather than conducting the interview remotely under a tight schedule.

After posting his full interview with former President Donald Trump on X late Monday, Rogan cast more light on negotiations with Harris.

Rogan wrote: “They offered a date for Tuesday, but I would have had to travel to her and they only wanted to do an hour. I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin. My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a human being.”

The influential podcaster, known for his lengthy sit-down interviews, said he hopes a session with Harris could proceed in a way that encourages a natural, extended conversation.

Trump’s appearance proved wildly popular, generating over 36 million views on YouTube in the days since its Friday release.

The conversation with Rogan could offer Harris access to his large, mostly young, male audience—a key demographic she’s hoping to connect with as election season closes out.
