‘Say Hello To Polio!’: Elizabeth Warren Warns RFK Jr. Is ‘Welcoming a Return’ of the Eradicated Disease
Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) warned that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will welcome the return of polio.
President-elect Donald Trump nominated Kennedy last month to lead the Department of Health and Human services. Kennedy faces an uphill battle in his confirmation process due to his anti-vaccine views and for spreading conspiracy theories.
A recent report by The New York Times revealed that Kennedy’s attorney Aaron Siri has petitioned the government to revoke its approval of the polio vaccine. Siri is helping Kennedy hire federal health officials for the incoming Trump White House.
Warren released a video on X on Friday claiming that Kennedy would welcome back polio along with measles. The Democratic lawmaker also bashed Kennedy for wanting to remove fluoride from water by noting “that’s what keeps your teeth from rotting.”

Say goodbye to your smile and say hello to polio. You know, I would laugh if it weren’t so scary. Donald Trump just picked RFK Jr to lead the Department of health and human Services. This is a man who wants to stop kids from getting their polio and measles shots. He’s actually welcoming a return to polio, a disease we nearly eradicated. But it doesn’t stop there. RFK Jr also doesn’t believe fluoride should be in your water, and that’s what keeps your teeth from rotting. You can’t make this stuff up.
