‘Do You Sell Cars?’ Elon Musks Leads X Outrage Mob Over Jaguar’s ‘Woke’ New Ad
Billionaire Elon Musk joined a group of online right-wingers in bashing luxury car manufacturer Jaguar over their new rebrand on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, the company unveiled a new promotional video on X with the caption, “Copy Nothing.” The advertisement presented multiple models in bright colored exotic outfits with flashing slogans, including “break moulds,” live vivid,” “create exuberant,” and “delete ordinary.”
No cars appeared at any point during the 30-second advertisement. Musk, the founder and owner of an electric car company, mocked the account by responding to the post with, “Do you sell cars?”

Other right-wing accounts then begun slamming the car company by claiming the advertisement was “woke” and comparing the car company to Bud Light, which was the subject of a right-wing boycott after it partnered with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
This is so the wrong timing for this. I can understand the C-suite being conned into this in 2022, but you have completely misread the moment. Bud Light 2.0.
