Billionaire father of twelve Elon Musk posted a tweet reacting to Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris by offering to give the singer a child and protect her cats.

Try explaining that previous sentence to yourself from the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, Musk’s post was met with a mix of shock, revulsion, and mockery.

Swift posted her endorsement of Harris and her running mate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz on her Instagram page shortly after the ABC debate ended, citing a post by Trump that used a false, AI-generated image of her to claim she was endorsing him. She praised the vice president as “a steady-handed, gifted leader” who “fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.”

The singer who has become a billionaire herself thanks to a run of records-shattering albums, her Eras Tour concerts, and the Eras Tour movie is also famous for her love of cats, doting on her three pet felines Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button and frequently showcasing their antics on her social media accounts. Her endorsement of the Harris-Walz ticket was posted with a photo of her holding Benjamin Button and signed “With love and hope, Taylor Swift, Childless Cat Lady” — alluding to the controversial comments by Trump’s running mate Sen. JD Vance (R-OH). So far, the post has over 8.6 million likes and counting.

Musk, who has endorsed Trump, reacted to Swift’s endorsement in a way that makes Vance’s bizarre musings about childless cat ladies and postmenopausal women seem tame by comparison.

“Fine Taylor … you win,” wrote Musk, who has fathered at least twelve children with three different women. “I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life.”

To be fair, it’s not entirely clear if Musk was offering to share one of the children he already has or impregnate Swift himself, but users on The Platform Formerly Known as Twitter did not hesitate to mock him for what many regarded as the “creepiest” tweet ever — along with mirthful speculation of how poorly the guy who backed out of sparring with Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg would fare in a fight with Swift’s 6’5″ football player boyfriend Travis Kelce.

One of Musk’s own children weighed in on the whole sordid mess. His estranged transgender daughter Vivian Jenna Wilson posted on Threads calling her father’s tweet “abhorrent” and “heinous incel nonsense.”
