Fox News Panel Hails Trump For Returning From Jan. 6 Riot Low: ‘Greatest Comeback…in HISTORY!’
Amid a flood of good news for Donald Trump, Fox News’ panel started hailing him as one of the greatest comeback artists of all time.
“We’re not there yet,” said anchor Bret Baier Tuesday night. “We’re not calling these states. We are going to wait and see how these raw vote totals go. But, you would rather be him. The path is getting clearer for him right now. To Sean’s point, even that he’s here at this moment, from January 7th, 2021, until now — is probably the biggest political phoenix from the ashes that we have ever seen in the history of politics.”
Brit Hume agreed with Baier and Sean Hannity’s assessment.
In the days after January 6th, I remember sitting there I think with you, Bret, and I said, “This guy, Trump, he’s radioactive. Republicans have turned against him. They want rid of him. He’s an obstacle, he’s a problem.” And I thought, I didn’t think a political comeback by him was possible. And yet, here we are. He is the toughest son of a gun I’ve ever seen, ever. I mean, all he’s had thrown at him? I would be in an insane asylum!
Laura Ingraham gave credit to Trump’s appeal to “young people” and “men.”
I think we shouldn’t underestimate the importance of policy and all of this. The Trump agenda in 2019 delivered some of the most stunning economic gains to blue-collar workers, the people that we came from, that we had seen in 25 years or maybe even longer. So, from the border to the economy to foreign policy and peace, that resonated with young people, with men, with this new demographic coalition. And, I think it’s not just the greatest political comeback of all time. If these trends continue — a big “If” — but if, it will be the greatest comeback I believe in history, because this man was counted out and called every name in the book. They wanted to put him in jail tonight, if they could.
Jesse Watters said a Trump win would prove him to be so popular that his rivals would have to decide how to move forward.
So, it would be up to Democrats and the media to determine, how’s their posture going to be towards a seemingly very popular president who’s had the greatest upset victory, followed by the most controversial election, followed by the greatest comeback victory we’ve ever seen.
