Ana Navarro Roasts Newt Gingrich For Outrage Over Wives Lying to Husbands About Their Vote: ‘He Cheated On His First And Second Wife’

The View co-host Ana Navarro roasted Newt Gingrich for being outraged that wives would lie their husbands about who they were voting for in the upcoming election on Friday by making note of Gingrich’s checkered marital history.

A new political advertisement released earlier this week encouraged female spouses to lie to their husbands about voting for Kamala Harris. On Thursday evening, the former House speaker reacted to the advertisement by asking Fox News’ Sean Hannity, “What kind of amoral, corrupt, sick systems the Democrats have developed?”

Gingrich cheated on both his first and second wives before marrying his third and current wife, Callista Gingrich, in 2000. Jesse Watters, who also cheated on his first wife, was also appalled by the political advertisement during a Thursday airing of The Five.

Navarro went after the former GOP lawmaker and Watters over their apparent “hypocrisy” during a Friday morning discussion on The View.

NAVARRO: If it wasn’t so serious, it would be comical is people like, you know, Newt Gingrich saying that we shouldn’t walk around saying wives should lie to their husbands or husbands should lie to their wives. He cheated on his first and second wife. And then the other guy, Jesse Water, says, what? That lying is equivalent to having an affair. Well, I guess that’s why he’s okay with supporting a man who had multiple affairs on all three of his wives.
