‘Spare Me’: Jessica Tarlov Helpfully Reminds Fox Co-Hosts Trump Has Repeatedly Called Harris a ‘Fascist’

Amid conservative outrage over Vice President Kamala Harris calling Donald Trump a “fascist,” Fox News’s Jessica Tarlov noted that the former president has been leveling the charge against Harris for some time now.

Harris participated in a CNN town hall on Wednesday, where she was asked if she agrees with former Trump officials John Kelly and Mark Milley in their assessments that Trump is a fascist.

“Yes, I do,” she replied.

Her response prompted outrage and condemnations on the right. The former president even falsely claimed that Harris called her “Hitler.”

“They’re calling him ‘Hitler’ because they can’t criticize his policies,” Jesse Watters said on Friday’s episode of The Five. “They don’t wanna talk about policies because he wins on policies. So, they’re just gonna call him names. They say this is a divisive time, they wanna turn the page on name-calling and division.”

Tarlov responded by noting that Harris is leaning on the description of Trump given by Kelly and Milley.

“You can hear it in John Kelly’s own voice talking about it,” she said. “And the central premise of this and of so many things when it comes to Donald Trump is that we should just not take his words seriously – that Kamala Harris’ words matter, and what Donald Trump says doesn’t because guess what? Donald Trump calls Kamala a ‘fascist’ quite regularly. He did it last month a couple times. He did it in August.”

She went on to note that Trump also refers to Harris as a “communist.”

“And last time I checked, communists were pretty bad,” Tarlov added. “Mao, Stalin. They were responsible for over a hundred million people’s deaths.”

She concluded, “So, spare me.”
