Fox’s Jesse Watters Claims He ‘Never Heard’ of Mark Robinson Despite Interviewing Him This Year

Fox News host Jesse Watters claimed on Thursday that he had “never heard” of North Carolina Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson – who was caught this week making disturbing comments on a porn forum – despite Watters interviewing him earlier this year.

Speaking on The Five about North Carolina, which she described as “a big target for the Democrats,” co-host Jessica Tarlov noted, “And we just found out an hour ago that the lieutenant governor there, Mark Robinson, who’s running for governor–”

“Never heard of him,” Watters interrupted.

Tarlov continued, “…who Donald Trump called ‘Martin Luther King Jr. on steroids,’ posted on a porn forum called ‘Nude Africa’ that he’s a ‘black NAZI,’ expressed support for reinstating slavery, and detailed his sexual arousal from memories of peeping on women in public gyms, and he still fantasizes about it. He also had an Ashley Madison account.”

Co-host Greg Gutfeld mocked, “How dare you kink shame!”

“So Josh Stein was likely to win that race anyway. If they get Mark Robinson to drop out, his name is still on the ballot, but this makes North Carolina even more in play for Democrats,” concluded Tarlov. “And this, again, is evidence of the kind of candidates that Donald Trump thinks are good for the country. ‘Martin Luther King on steroids,’ somebody who says he’s a ‘black NAZI.'”

Despite Watters’ insistence that he had never heard of Robinson, the Fox News host interviewed Robinson in January, less than a year ago, on his show Jesse Watters Primetime.
