‘F*ck Away From Me, Bro!’ Fox News Reporter Gets Shouted at After Confronting Homeless Man for Doing Drugs on Street
Fox News’ Johnny Belisario was shouted at by a homeless man on Tuesday after he confronted him for allegedly doing drugs on the street.
During a Jesse Watters Primetime segment on homeless people and drug addicts on the streets of New York, Belisario confronted a man sitting on the sidewalk.
“You’re know you’re not allowed to be doing this right here?” asked Belisario as the man could be seen putting something into his bag.
“Oh my God, bro. Can you leave me alone, man?” the homeless man responded. “Wow. Are you serious right now?”
After Belisario asked, “Why are you doing this?” the homeless man replied, “Why are you doing this?” before stuffing the rest of his possessions into his bag and walking off.
“Fuck away from me, bro!” the man shouted as Belisario’s cameraman continued to record him.
Fox News told Mediaite that Belisario had spotted the man with a needle in his hand, prompting the confrontation.
During the segment, Belisario also spoke to several other homeless people in New York’s so-called “Strip of Despair” on 8th avenue near the Port Authority Bus Terminal — as well as local residents, who told Fox News they felt less safe in the area due to rising drug problems.
“You know you’re not allowed to just sleep here on the streets?” Belisario told one homeless person, who replied, “I know, but I take the chance.”
