Fox News Brings Harris Spox Ian Sams Back On Air Less Than 24 Hours After Trump Raged Over His Appearances

Harris campaign spokesman Ian Sams joined Fox News’ Dana Perino for an interview on Wednesday morning less than 24 hours after Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump raged over Sams’s appearances on the network, even going so far as to wonder aloud if the operative owned the network.

In a post on Truth Social Tuesday, Trump wrote, “Does Ian Sams, Lyin’ Kamala’s Special Advisor, own FoxNews? He is on all the time, as are so many other of her supporters. So ridiculous that Fox allows this to happen right before the Election. We will WIN without Fox. MAGA2024!”

But despite Trump’s complaint, Sams was back on Fox’s airwaves for a good-natured, but challenging discussion with Perino on Wednesday that saw them talk about Harris’s polling with Black men, identity politics, and Harris’s proposal to give first-time homebuyers tens of thousands of dollars to use on their down payment.

“If I was selling a house and they said, ‘You’re going to get an extra 20-,’ I would just say, ‘Okay, great, then it’s $25,000 more. That’s just logic,” said Perino after Sams brought up that latter topic.

At the end of the interview, Perino said she was “so glad” Harris was joining Fox’s Bret Baier for an interview later in the day and thanked Sams for being “very generous” with his time.

“She’s [Harris] looking forward to speaking to Fox News viewers. I think that she understands that there’s a lot of people out there who haven’t heard from her, haven’t heard from her directly about where she stands on these issues,” replied Sams. “And it’s important to be on Fox, you know. Fox has a big audience.”

Trump has also complained about Harris’s forthcoming interview with Baier, accusing him of being “very soft” on Democrats. Notably, Trump himself is set to appear at a Fox News townhall with Harris Faulkner on Wednesday morning.
