Former ICE Director turned former Fox News contributor Tom Homan appeared on Fox & Friends Monday morning to discuss his overnight appointment by President-Elect Donald Trump as his new Border Czar for his second administration.

Homan has been a frequent guest of the Fox morning show, and was asked by co-host Steve Doocy about plans to deport over 10 million documented migrants out of the United States, which was a common campaign promise made in the run-up to Trump’s electoral win last week.

“I know you don’t want to give away the whole game book, but you do have deportations and mass workplace stuff planned? Any other kind of category of deportations of interest?” Doocy asked Homan.

Homan made clear that he and Trump have absolute intentions to lead a mass deportation. However, his answer was short on details on how such a massive operation would take place — ostensibly at considerable cost of transit and building of camps concentrated with the undocumented immigrants in the country illegally. Homan did reveal his priority focus on what the called “Public safety threats and national security threats,” as well as focusing on worksite inspections:

As the president as the president said on stage many times, which I agree 100%, there’s going to be the same as it was during the first administration, which it’s just a hell of a lot more of them because 10 million people are

getting in this country legally under the Biden administration or they’re actually let into this country, even though it’s violation of federal law when they’ve been doing, an abuse of the parole authority. But look, I’ve been clear. President Trump’s been clear. Public safety threats and national security threats will be the priority because they have to be they pose most danger in this country. So we’re going to prioritize those groups, those who always have final (unintelligible) those who have due process, at great taxpayer expense. And a federal judge said you must go home. And they didn’t. They became a fugitive. So and as for a worksite, worksite operations have to happen. Here’s why, Steve. Where do we find most victims of sex trafficking and forced labor trafficking? At worksites. In the Biden administration checked on worksites. On one on one point. We say we care about sex trafficking and human trafficking. They shut down worksite enforcement, which is one of the main areas we find the victims of this.I want to add one more thing, another priority. This administration has lost over 300,000 children that were smuggled in this country by criminal cartels. They can’t find another priority. We need to save these children because some of these children forced labor, some of these children, sex trafficking, some of these children are living a life of hell
every day. When you say these children getting back to their families.

Rachel Campos-Duffy jumped in to congratulate Homan before asking him about how he is dealing with “the propaganda from the other side saying that what you’re doing is ‘not is not compassionate, that it’s it’s not humanitarian.'”

“I’m glad you mentioned the 300,000 children that are missing,” she added, before asking Homan how he is going to “deal with those kinds of attacks, even though you know that this open border has led to sex trafficking of children and an exponential increase of child labor, illegal child labor?”

“Frankly, I don’t care what people think about me, especially in the left,” Homan replied. “Again, you know, when you have a historic crisis like crisis, here’s what you need to know when you  have a crisis, this overwhelms and border patrol we’re the moral majority border are no longer on patrol. They’re making sandwiches. They’re changing diapers and making baby formula.”

“I don’t care what anybody’s opinions like illegal immigration. When you create a crisis this big, all these other bad things happen. That’s what we have to secure the border. I don’t care if you’re Republican or Democrat or independent for border security is national security.

We should all be on the same side on that,” he concluded.

Fox News nearly immediately ended Homan’s contributorship following Sunday night’s news that he had joined the Trump administration.
