Comedian Rob Schneider told Tucker Carlson he’s been blacklisted from Canada and late night television over his conservative politics.

“You were punished by the Canadians for telling naughty jokes,” Carlson mentioned during a lengthy chat with Schneider for the latest episode of The Tucker Carlson Show.

Carlson was referring to Schneider having a set at a June charity event in Canada cut short after he offended organizers with jokes about vaccines and being trans. The organization ended up apologizing after complaints went public.

“They really went after me and it hurt not at all,” Schneider joked.

According to Schneider, the joke that led to the backlash is one in which he pretends to be a father pushing his son to pretend to identify as female so he can play and then dominate in athletics. The former Saturday Night Live cast member offered no apology for the humor and insisted people were laughing.

“I’m glad I did it and I’ll do it again if you let me back in the country!” he said.

“Which I’m assuming they won’t?” Carlson replied.

“I will not be allowed back into the country — for ‘hate speech,’ for jokes!” Schneider said.

“And you’re not allowed on late night TV either?” Carlson then asked.

“I don’t get invited,” Schneider said.

The comedian said his vaccine criticism and conservative views have also led to a soft ban from late night television, but he claimed it doesn’t bother him because he views the format as close to political propaganda today.

“Much of late night TV is political indoctrination with comedic imposition. It no longer resembles comedy as much as cheering on the rhetoric and attacking a particular one half of the country,” he said.

Schneider slammed late night comedians as interchangeable in their humor and viewpoints.

“You can literally replace the dialogue with the jokes from one late night guy to the next guy and then put them in the mouth of this guy and there’s just no individual point of view because it is really ideologically captured,” he said.
