Michael Moore was full of praise for the Democratic National Convention, but he called the lack of Palestinian-American speakers “shameful.”

“Where’s the Palestinian voice on the stage? That was sad. The big tent, the big rainbow, everybody allowed in except one group of our fellow Americans. Kind of shameful,” Moore said on the latest episode of his Rumble podcast.

The DNC has earned some backlash, including from Jon Stewart, over the lack of Palestinian-American speakers to discuss the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas and the thousands of civilian casualties inside of Gaza. Moore previously helped organize an protest vote in the Michigan Democratic primary where thousands voted “uncommitted” in protest of the United States’ support of Israel.

He praised Vice President Kamala Harris for pointing to the loss of life in Gaza and calling it “devastating” during her DNC acceptance speech. Moore argued Harris is likely far more critical of Israel’s war tactics behind the scenes than other Democrats.

“It’s going to take a little while. She’s not president until 12:01 on January 20,” Moore said.

Rachel Goldberg and Jon Polin, the parents of Hersh Goldberg-Polin who is being held captive in Gaza by Hamas, did give an emotional speech at the DNC.

Moore was overall full of nothing but praise for the DNC — beyond the lack of focus on Gaza — and predicted former President Donald Trump is “going to come apart at the seams” as the election races on.

“This honeymoon isn’t ending!” he declared. “If it’s a sugar high, someone is mainlining sugar into all of us right now then. It’s not going to stop.”
