The Labour Party is more popular with GB News audiences than the Tories, according to a new poll.

The survey, conducted by JL Partners, involved 518 current and past GB News viewers, revealing a significant preference for Labour which leads the Tories by 11 points, 39 percent to 28 percent, when excluding undecided voters. Meanwhile, Reform UK, helmed by GB News presenter Richard Tice, secures third place with 20 percent support.

Labour’s popularity spikes to 45 percent among those who have recently tuned out of GB News, but dips to 32 percent with the current audience. The Tories, while more favourable among current audiences than past viewers, still trail Labour by two points at 30 percent.

Despite the surprising popularity of Labour and its leader, Sir Keir Starmer, the survey indicates voter apprehension over his approach to illegal migration, a hot-button issue for 74 percent of the viewership. Yet, Starmer leads over Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in confidence to enhance the NHS—viewers’ top concern.

Overall its GB News presenter Nigel Farage who emerges as the viewer favourite, boasting a 45 percent positive rating, slightly ahead of Starmer’s 44 percent and significantly surpassing Sunak’s 37 percent.
