‘He Came Here to Kill!’ Brian Kilmeade Slams Critics of Fox News’ Coverage of Migrant Crime Amid Laken Riley Trial
Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade slammed critics of his network’s coverage of crimes committed by illegal immigrants while discussing the ongoing trial of Jose Ibarra, the man who allegedly murdered University of Georgia student Laken Riley earlier this year.
“There’s no mystery to this case. It’s not one of those things we’re like, ‘What if?’ No, no, we know exactly what happened in exquisite detail. The only thing we’re missing is direct video of it. So we see what she went through. We see how hard she fought for those 18 minutes. We see that she struggled to get some help. We see also that he — when he was brought in — he had scratches on him. So we know that he’s guilty,” he began.
Kilmeade continued:
The randomness of this killing could have been any woman at any time. And the thing is they’re bring his brothers in there. They’re checking out that background. He came here to kill! And disrupt. And for those people who think that we were covering it or anybody else was covering this for an election reason, or a partisan reason, we’re not letting up on this or the other cases. A brutal murder from illegal criminals who got across our border, blow off our guards, and then blow up our system ,and then just try to kill. We’ve seen a lot of them here in New York City. We’re seeing the same gang take root right in almost every major city. There is no other side. Stuff like this has to be used as momentum to forget-, to oust those people who want sanctuary cities in our country. Because Athens is, New York is, Chicago, Philadelphia, Austin, Texas and others, those sanctuary cities are keeping your kids in danger.
“Some people in our business who work at Fox were calling the family and talking to the family and just letting them know that they’re so sorry. And the dad was talking about how much-. How close Laken and her mom were and talked constantly,” replied Ainsley Earhardt. “And when you see those images of the mother covering her face, how do you get through something like that?”
