Kilmeade Dares Celebs ‘From Rob Reiner to Alec Baldwin’ Who Vowed to Leave US to Follow Through: ‘You Might Want to Do That’

Fox News host Brian Kilmeade urged celebrities who vowed to leave the country if former President Donald Trump won the 2024 election to do exactly that on Wednesday’s edition of Outnumbered.

Trump secured a second term in a historic career comeback Tuesday against improbable odds and overperforming relative to his 2016 election victory. Kilmeade argued that stars such as Alec Baldwin and Rob Reiner should pack their bags.

The network host said Tuesday’s reelection was a repudiation of modern institutions and celebrity culture. He noted exit polls found Trump made big gains with minorities and that Trump overperformed in the battleground states.

Using those data points to make his argument, Kilmeade called on Hollywood to flee:

So, they wanted to marginalize and say you didn’t get the popular vote. Well, he got the popular vote. You didn’t win all the battleground states – won all the battleground states. Then they come out and they say, okay, you don’t win. No minorities. No, you did, you made huge progress with minorities. So every single step of the way, you wired the game. You won the Electoral College, you won the popular vote. You won gains in every single minority class.

Please tell me again where he’s illegitimate. Unless you’re so embarrassed by your country, you’re going to fulfill your promise and leave. From Rob Reiner to Alec Baldwin – maybe Alec Baldwin not this time – but there’s a list of like 12 celebrities going to leave the country. And you might want to do that because the country has spoken overwhelmingly.

Reiner and Baldwin, two outspoken critics of Trump, were among numerous celebrities who vowed to leave the country permanently if Trump won the 2016 election.

As The Hollywood Reporter noted, that list also included Whoopi Goldberg, Geroge Lopez, Samuel L. Jackson, Brian Crasnton, and Barbra Streisand.

As of Wednesday afternoon – hours after the country’s major news networks called the 2024 election for Trump – each of them appeared to still living stateside.

Goldberg reported to work at ABC’s The View as normal, although she joined her cohosts in wearing all back.
