Comedian and filmmaker Rob Schneider announced on Fox News that he is launching an “all ladies talk show” that will directly compete with ABC’s The View.

Schneider joined Fox’s Trace Gallagher on Monday to promote his book You Can Do It, as well as announced the new show from his media company.

“No Apologies Media, we’re going to do an all ladies talk show and that won’t be like The View,” Schneider said with a laugh.

“Is it the opposite of The View?” Gallagher asked.

“It could be, but we’re just going to do a show — it will be the opposite because it will be entertaining! It’ll be funny, we’re going to have funny women on it that will tell jokes and have funny stories — and health and wellness,” Schneider said.

The Deuce Bigelow star said the show will “compete” directly with The View, though he did not offer more details except that his show will have “household names.” Schneider also said the show will begin shooting in January before the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump.

The View is currently hosted by Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Joy Behar, Ana Navarro, Sara Haines, and Alyssa Farah Griffin.

Schneider endorsed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in the 2024 presidential election and later revealed he was voting for Trump after Kennedy endorsed the Republican.

“It’

s going to be a funny show, not like a drowning people and politics, it’s not going to be shaming people, and making people wince,” Schneider said.

The comedian called The View about as “interesting as a Hunter Biden painting made of his own feces.”

“People are sick of it,” he said. “People don’t want to have the politics. We’re going to have an entertaining show with people for entertaining all over America. We’re not just trying to bring people who are angry and bitter and reinforcing their political echo chamber.”
