The fan who jumped on the court during the fight in Sunday’s game between LSU and South Carolina has been charged with assault.

The fight occurred near the end of the fourth quarter of Sunday’s SEC championship. After LSU guard Flau’jae Johnson committed a foul, South Carolina forward Ashlyn Watkins approached her and said something. As Johnson walked past her, she shoved Watkins. In response, Gamecocks center Kamilla Cardoso charged Johnson and pushed her to the ground. Multiple players on each team came off the bench and were ejected.

Cardoso was ejected for fighting and will likely be suspended for South Carolina’s first game in the NCAA tournament.

During the scrum, a man was also seen jumping over the scorers table to confront Cardoso. When he landed on the court, he bumped the 22-year-old and said something to her.

Shortly after, it was revealed the man was Johnson’s brother. He was escorted off the court in handcuffs by police.

On Monday, The Post and Courier of Greenville, South Carolina reported the man, 24-year-old Trayron Milton, was charged with third-degree assault, battery, and disorderly conduct. The charges stem from Milton pushing down on an SEC employee’s head to vault over the table. He also stepped on her shoulders. According to police, the employee was wounded in the incident.
