John Mayer Sends Anderson Cooper Reeling as He Joins CNN’s New Years Eve Live From a Japanese Cat Bar

CNN’s Anderson Cooper completely lost all composure on New Years Eve as he and Andy Cohen spoke with musician John Mayer as he beamed into their show from the other side of the world.

Cooper and Cohen were allowed to drink this year as they hosted CNN’s New Years Eve show, and they were at least four shots of tequila in by the time they spoke to Mayer while he was spending New Years in Japan. Surrounded by felines, Mayer explained that he was currently at a cat bar in Tokyo, and…well between the framing and the — shall we say — antics of the cats, Cooper was reduced to a state of helpless giggling that’s far better to watch than to talk about.
