Elon Musk Defends X Engineer Who Posted Racist, Anti-White Rant: ‘He Is a Troll, But Went a Little Over-the-Top’
Billionaire Elon Musk defended one of his employees on Thursday after he received backlash for posting a series of racist, anti-White posts.
During a Wednesday social media debate about H-1B visas and Musk’s support for hiring cheaper labor from India over American workers, one of Musk’s X engineers hit out against his employer’s critics.
“America wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for Indian excellence,” claimed the engineer, who goes simply by “Kache,” and was hired by Musk in June 2024.
After another user replied that his claim was “not even remotely true,” the engineer snapped, “lmao stfu white boi what have you built? what have you invented? what has your father built? and his father before that? we will be lucky to even get one child out of you. do better.”
“I am doing better than you are here, after being born here. Guess my genetic make up is better than yours, potato boy,” he continued. “See you on the battlefield.”
Kache continued his rant in several other posts, replying to one user, “If your race is so great, why am I outcompeting you on every axis that actually matters? Seems like you are the one who is dysgenic. Thankfully, evolution will take care of you in due time. Good luck to you and your children, if you are capable of having any!”
He added, “Racist whites will do anything to save their ‘white’ ‘race’ except getting a job and having children. If you are getting replaced, it’s because you are incapable of successfully playing your part.”
The posts immediately went viral, with many users on Musk’s platform calling for the engineer to be fired.
However, despite the backlash, Musk appeared to stand by his employee on Thursday.
After a user tweeted at Musk, “One of your engineers is a racist,” the billionaire replied, “He is a troll, but went a little over-the-top in the past few days.”
“A little over the top?” shot back Fox News columnist David Marcus. “Are you confirming X still employs this person? My God, man.”
Former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy also received backlash on Thursday after he suggested that companies were not hiring Americans because they were mediocre.
Musk and Ramaswamy were appointed by President-elect Donald Trump last month to lead the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and “dismantle Government Bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure Federal Agencies.”
