Jarring CNN Supercut Jumps From Trump Assassination Attempt Right To Praising Golfer’s Enormous Penis
CNN put together a jarring campaign supercut that jumped from the second apparent assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump straight to his phallic wonderment at the magnificence of Arnold Palmer.
With only hours to go before Election Day, the dominant storylines are the bombshell Des Moines Register poll showing Vice President Kamala Harris ahead of Trump in Iowa, and the dizzying sprint of swing state rallies that spit out viral moments at breakneck speed.
But the last five months of the 2024 presidential campaign have themselves been a long decade, cramming in more action, drama, comedy, and horror than the dumpster at the last Blockbuster.
It began in earnest with the dramatic drop-out by President Joe Biden and his endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris on July 21, just days after the July 13 assassination attempt that left Trump bloodied and Trump supporter/former firefighter Corey Comperatore dead as he shielded his family.
That attempt was followed by a September 15 incident in which shots were fired by Secret Service when another would-be assassin was spotted at Doral.
Among the high-and-lowlights was Trump’s late-October repetition of a story he’s told before about the late golfer and the allegedly awe-inspiring spectacle that was the pro-golf communal shower:
Arnold Palmer was all man. And I say that at all due respect to women. And I love women. But this guy, this guy. This is a guy that was all man. This man was strong and tough.
And I refuse to say it. But when he took showers with the other pros, they came out of there. They said, “Oh my God. That’s unbelievable.”
On Tuesday’s edition of CNN This Morning, anchor Kasie Hunt introduced a package of clips spanning the years since Trump announced his candidacy in November of 2022 that featured an interesting juxtaposition of Trump’s second assassination attempt incident and his much-derided ode to Palmer’s — let’s say 11-Wood:
