‘RFK Jr Is Lying’: Trump Ally Laura Loomer Causes MAGA Infighting By Accusing Kennedy of Fundraising Scam

Laura Loomer

Laura Loomer, the far-right conspiracy theorist and close ally of former President Donald Trump, kicked up a firestorm of anger in MAGA world over the weekend when she accused Robert F. Kennedy Jr. of scamming Trump supporters.

Loomer, whose posts and “investigations” are regularly shared by Trump himself, announced on X, formerly Twitter, Sunday, “FUNDRAISING SCAM ALERT.” She added:

None of this money that @RobertKennedyJr is raising is going toward Donald Trump’s campaign like RFK Jr has claimed below.

The fine print on the donation landing page says the money raised will go toward paying off RFK JR’s campaign debts from the Democrat Primary…

Hey @RobertKennedyJr, if you’re an official Trump surrogate, why are you raising money on a separate platform that isn’t affiliated with Trump? And why are you lying and saying this money will benefit Trump when it clearly says it will be used to pay off your campaign debt from the Democrat primary in which you attacked Trump?

This is called deceptive fundraising. You’re trying to exploit MAGA.

This money doesn’t go to Trump.

That’s not a Trump fundraising link.

What’s going on here?

Loomer attached her post to Kennedy’s latest clip soliciting donations, in which he said, “Every dollar you contribute will continue building momentum to get President Trump back in the White House.”

Loomer sparked a quick backlash, even from one of her closest allies in Trump’s universe, Roger Stone.

“This is false. RFK’s campaign just dropped one of the best pro-Trump ads of the year and a friend in Wisconsin who is an RFK supporter told me he got a call from RFK’s campaign today urging him to vote TRUMP,” Stone replied to Loomer. Kennedy endorsed Trump after dropping out of the race in September and both have promised Kennedy will take an active role in “making America healthy again,” despite Kennedy’s long history of promoting wild conspiracy theories and anti-vaccine claims.

Loomer hit back at Stone and wrote, “The fine print clearly says the money is going to pay off his Democrat Party debt. It’s not going into Trump’s campaign account. My post is accurate. This isn’t personal. This is showing people where their money is going so they know what they are donating to. It’s the ethical thing to do.”

“You’re wrong. You have no fundamental understanding of the federal election law, which is why you lost two campaigns for Congress. Perhaps you should spend your time not attacking people who are on the same side as you are 2 days b4 the election #amatuer,” Stone replied to Loomer. Stone has been a longtime friend of Loomer, endorsing her in both her failed runs for Congress in Florida.

Loomer later doubled down and wrote, “Wow the RFK Jr fundraising scam gets even worse. He says he’s raising money to get Trump back into the White House… Not only does the money not go to Trump and instead goes toward paying off the debt from RFK Jr’s DEMOCRAT Presidential campaign, but donations over $6,600 go to the “Kennedy Victory Fund” which funnels money into the Libertarian Party to support their candidate for President… which is NOT Donald Trump.”

Reactions to Loomer’s posts on the topic turned vicious as Trump supporters called her “toxic” and accused her of trying to sabotage Trump days before the election. Loomer has long been a highly controversial figure on the far-right and has pushed conspiracy theories denying everything from school shootings to suggesting Nikki Haley controlled the weather ahead of the Iowa caucuses.

Trump praised Loomer during his Iowa caucus victory speech in January, calling her “a very important person” and “fantastic.” Trump met with Loomer at his Bedminster country club over the summer and praised the work she does on his behalf and reportedly even tried to hire her as campaign staff before an internal revolt. Trump later sparked an outcry by having Loomer on his plane as he attended 9/11 memorials this year, an event Loomer has suggested was a false flag attack carried out by the U.S. government.
