James Carville Spirals Over Trump’s Latest ‘Clown Sh*t’ AKA Laura Loomer: ‘I’ve Given Up’
Veteran Democratic strategist James Carville vented he had “given up” on the latest drama surrounding the campaign of former President Donald Trump – this week’s public embrace of conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer.
Trump traveled with Loomer to Tuesday’s debate in Philadelphia against Vice President Kamala Harris. She also accompanied him to a number of 9/11 memorials on Wednesday.
The 2024 Republican Party nominee dismissed the controversial pairing on Friday and said had not endorsed past racist remarks made by Loomer and he did not agree with her prior remarks that the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks were an inside job.
On Saturday afternoon on the Politicon YouTube page, Carville threw his hands up while addressing the situation.
“Well, I’ve given up,” Carville began. “Every time I come on I want to really talk to you about substantive issues. I don’t want to talk to you about this clown shit.” Carville continued:
I’ve given up. I will never, ever get out of this loop. We’ve been through Trump farting and shitting all over the courthouse. Laura Ingraham hugging plastic straws. Every goofy ass thing you can think about. And the one thing about this operation, when you think they’ve hit bottom, they’re nowhere close to it. So what I try to do is limit my comments to powerful people. I talk about Trump, I talk about Jesse Watters, I talk about Sean Hannity. I talk about Laura Ingraham because I don’t like to pick on little people. All right this bit here, how do you go without commenting on Laura Loomer? All right, now I’m not picking on a little person. This person has apparently become the top adviser to Donald J. Trump. She’s on the plane all the time.
“What I love is, and just so you know, she’s a 9/11 truther,” Carville added while praising George H.W. Bush-era Republicans for never associating with people such as Loomer.
Carville concluded that high-profile Republicans had become too tolerant of Trump’s antics.
He then slammed Loomer as a failed congressional candidate and ripped those who voted for her in 2022.
“Maybe Trump pals around with her because he understands the nature of the Republican constituency,” he concluded.
