Steve Bannon once claimed Elon Musk would take a check from Adolf Hitler after labeling the billionaire a “globalist” for his business ties to China.

The right has been at odds with Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy — who President-elect Donald Trump tasked with leading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) — after the men came out in support of immigration visas for high-skilled workers. According to critics, that support is in direct conflict with Trump’s promise to end the H-1B visa program that allows those workers to be legally employed in the U.S.

On Friday, Laura Loomer joined Bannon’s show where the two continued calling out Musk and Ramaswamy for their support of migrant workers.

As noted by MeidasTouch editor in chief Ron Filipkowski, Bannon has been critical of Musk for similar issues in the past. Back in 2023, he labeled Musk a “globalist” while sounding the alarm on his ties to American adversaries.

“Elon Musk, once again, brother,” Bannon said, “I’m smart enough to tell you,

‘No,’ to your face, and I’m evil enough to be able to expose you as a running dog for the greatest enemy this nation’s ever had. You’re a war profiteer. You’re sleeping with the enemy, brother, and you’ve been doing it because all you — you’re not an American nationalist. You’re not even an American. All you are is a globalist, OK, a globalist; and you will go where everybody — anybody writes you a check and you would take it from Adolf Hitler himself because you’re taking it from people that are as bad as Adolf Hitler — the murderous regime of the Chinese Communist Party, which you praised on their 100th anniversary.”

In late November, Bannon had appeared to put aside his animosity toward Musk and celebrated the work the Tesla billionaire did to get Trump elected. “And, look, we have huge ideological differences, including about the Chinese Communist Party. Let’s put a pin in that for a second. I said what’s fascinating to me is that he put money up for the least glamorous part of the victory and I said, ‘Hey was not, without Elon and Charlie Kirk and Miriam Adelson putting that money up and you this audience or the hop lights for the get out the vote, going door to door, the canvasing that got the low propensity voters to the polls,

we wouldn’t have had the massive victory. So he deserves a seat at the table. Also, what he’s doing on DOGE is this is pick and shovel work. This is not glamorous,” Bannon told his War Room audience.

Bannon now appears to have renewed his feud with Musk and unequivocally declared that tech bros and their “anarcho-libertarian” worldview would not lead the U.S. in the future.
