Jim Jordan Refuses to Answer When Dan Abrams Presses: ‘If Trump Loses, Will You Tell Him to Concede?’

NewsNation host and Mediaite founder Dan Abrams clashed with House Judiciary Committee chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) on Monday over whether he would ask former President Donald Trump to concede if he loses the 2024 election.

During an interview with Jordan on Dan Abrams Live, Abrams asked bluntly, “If Trump loses, will you tell him to concede?”

Jordan replied, “Well, he’s not gonna lose, and if he loses, he will concede like he did last time.”

“He didn’t concede! He never conceded!” shot back Abrams, to which Jordan responded, “Power was turned over last time, for goodness sake. That’s how it works! And President Trump did that. He left the White House, Joe Biden came in, and we’ve had three-and-a-half years of ridiculous, crazy policy.”

Abrams asked again, “I’m gonna try one more time on that question. If he loses, are you going to tell him to concede?”

Jordan dodged the question for a second time, replying, “Well, if he loses, he loses, but he’s not going to lose.”

“There’s no possible way, there’s no way, no universe where he could lose?” questioned Abrams. “In a race where he’s favored by about 54% at this point, there’s no possible way he could lose?”

Jordan answered, “No, I mean, that could happen. I don’t think it’s gonna happen. I think he’s going to win. That’s what I’m saying. I think he’s going to win, everything points to us taking back the Senate, and everything points to us increasing our majority in the House.”

“If he loses. If. If,” declared Abrams.

“If? Well, I’m not gonna deal in hypotheticals,” said Jordan. “I’m focused on the next eight days.”

After Jordan continued to dodge the question and instead champion Trump’s record in office, Abrams concluded, “Alright, so you won’t answer it directly, but I hear you.”
