Trump Videos Into His NY Golf Club to Salute US Open Champ Bryson DeChambeau — Who Chugs Wine from the Trophy With Eric Trump
Former President Donald Trump made a video cameo at one of his golf clubs to congratulate U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau — who partied into the evening and chugged wine from the championship trophy with Eric Trump.
After making the media rounds in New York City Monday, DeChambeau headed just north of the city to Trump’s Westchester golf club — where he was feted by a crowd including Eric Trump.
At one point in the festivities, former President Trump appeared by way of video — which was posted to Instagram by his attorney, Alina Habba — to salute the newly-minted champ.
“You can’t just win tournaments without the long ball, like Babe Ruth,” Trump told the big-hitting DeChambeau. “You have to be a long ball hitter. You have it all. You have the long ball. And you have everything else.”
Trump then quoted someone he was speaking to — who said DeChambeau is “the closest thing we’ve seen to Arnold Palmer.”

Another video circulating showed DeChambeau pouring wine into the championship trophy and then taking a swig.
“Now that’s a full trophy,” Eric Trump said. “That’s a Trump pour.”

And the party raged into the evening — as Trump shared a video from his Truth Social platform showing DeChambeau ripping a drive in the darkness.
“Bryson hitting a beauty at Trump National Westchester, a little while ago,” Trump wrote. “What a great drive that was!!!
Notably, DeChambeau is aligned with LIV Golf — the Saudi-backed golf tour which has hosted numerous events on Trump’s courses.
In his congratulatory post on Truth Social Monday, Trump alluded to the fissure in men’s golf between LIV and the PGA Tour — as well as the ongoing talks of an agreement between the two.
“Congratulations also to LIV Golf for their genius in signing Bryson and other of the best Golfers in the World,” Trump wrote. Hopefully Golf will soon come together as one, fully united, which is the way it should be!
