‘BIG Mistake!’ Trump Still Angry About Dems Bringing ‘Crazy Liz Chaney’ Into Campaign Days After Win: ‘Bad Idea!’

President-elect Donald Trump on Sunday roasted Democrats for making what he called a “BIG mistake” in bringing former Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney, whose name he spelled wrong, in support of Vice President Kamala Harris and other Democrats in the 2024 election.

Cheney was very visible in support of Harris, particularly in the final weeks of the campaign – something for which Republicans frequently mocked them.

Although Republicans over the last week have talked about restoring “unity” and bringing Americans together, Cheney and her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney, do not appear to have made the cut, and Trump went after the Democrats for involving them, in a post on his Truth Social platform Sunday.

“The Democrats made a BIG mistake in getting Crazy Liz Chaney, and her father, Dick, involved in their campaign for President,” Trump wrote. “It made the Republicans angry, and the Democrats just plain scratching their heads in amazement.”

“It is always a bad idea to bring ‘losers’ into a political campaign!” said Trump, putting the word losers in quotes for some reason.

On Friday, MSNBC host Jen Psaki also expressed the idea that bringing in so-called “Never Trump” figures such as Cheney was not a good way to build a “winning coalition.”
