‘Gone Full-Blown Neo-Nazi’: Candace Owens Widely Condemned Online For Holocaust Revisionism Clip

Candace Owens, the hard right MAGA influencer fired from the Daily Wire, sparked fresh controversy with a now widely condemned episode of her online show, in which she discussed Adolf Hitler and dabbled in some wild Holocaust revisionism.

Clips from the episode titled “Literally Hitler. Why Can’t We Talk About Him?” began circulating online this week, including of Owens claiming that accounts of Nazi doctor Josef Mengele’s horrific experiments sounded to her like “bizarre propaganda.”

Owens, whose show lands in the top ten on the Spotify podcast charts in the U.S., has a long history of controversial and outlandish rhetoric including saying Hitler’s “nationalism” inside Germany was “fine” and that parents who take their kids to drag queen story hour should have them “taken away.”

“The idea that they just cut a human up and then sewed them back together. Why would you do that? Even if you’re the most evil person in the world, that’s a tremendous waste of time and supplies,” Owens said, casting doubt on a well-documented atrocity that took place during the Holocaust.

“It is an established fact that SS officer Josef Mengele performed deadly experiments on Jewish twins during the Holocaust,” replied the Combat Antisemitism Movement account on X, formerly Twitter, adding:

Not 80 years later, @RealCandaceO tries to rewrite history by denying these depraved acts ever happened.
Utterly repugnant.

In another viral clip from her show last Tuesday, which has over 380,000 views, Owens also claimed that the Allies that defeated Nazi Germany were the actual perpetrators of “ethnic cleansing.” Owens called Holocaust education in the West indoctrination akin to “Soviet tactics of introducing really heavy concepts to kids while their brains are developing because you want to traumatize them.”

She then slammed Holocaust education for telling schoolchildren that Hitler was “the greatest evil that’s ever happened on earth, even though factually and statistically it is not.”

Owens then said, “And part of that learning process for me, when I started looking into it, was coming across a huge fact that we ethnically, the allies, ethnically cleansed 12 million Germans.”

The Allies, in fact, lost over 16 million soldiers defeating the Axis powers – including Nazi Germany, which undertook a horrific campaign of ethnic cleansing aimed at Europe’s Jewish, LGBT, Roma, and other populations they deemed undesirable.

Owens was roundly slammed for her commentary by pundits on the left and right. Below are some of the reactions:
