Woman In Viral Hug With Donald Trump is Longtime Conservative Activist and ‘BLEXIT’ Campaigner

The woman who went viral for hugging former President Donald Trump at an Atlanta Chick-fil-A is a longtime conservative activist connected to the “BLEXIT” organization.

Michaelah Montgomery embraced Trump at the fast food chain earlier this week in front of reporters while stating, “I don’t care what the media tells you, Mr. Trump, we support you.”

Montgomery later joined Fox News for an interview on Friday where she claimed more Black Americans will turn away from President Joe Biden for the presumptive Republican nominee in the upcoming November election.

The Trump campaign promoted the Fox News segment on social media without disclosing Montgomery’s prior work with the BLEXIT Foundation.

The BLEXIT Foundation is an organization founded by far-right firebrand Candace Owens in 2018 that encourages Black Americans and other ethnic minorities to abandon the Democratic party for Republicans. The organization later merged with the college pro-Trump student activist group, Turning Point USA.

According to Montgomery’s LinkedIn account, she has been a city director in the Atlanta metropolitan area for BLEXIT since March 2022. She also served as an intern for Georgia’s Republican Party.

X account PatriotTakes first pointed out Montgomery’s resume and argued her embrace of Trump was likely staged by the former president’s campaign.
