Former GMA3 co-hosts T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach lost their jobs at ABC when news of their on-set affair broke, as well all those sweet Disney perks. But are they actually banned from entering any Disney theme parks?

On the latest episode of the Amy and T.J. Podcast, which was released Thursday, Robach and Holmes talked about marathons with their guest Matt James from ABC’s The Bachelor, who said he was going to try to convince his girlfriend Rachael Kirkconnell to enter a race with him, including the Disney 5K. The hosts are also both avid runners, but Holmes expressed doubts that they’d be able to join the other couple at the Happiest Place on Earth:

We would love to run with you down at that 5K. I don’t think we’re allowed on the park’s grounds anymore. I don’t think! We’ll check. Last we checked, we weren’t, but we’ll check.

Now, full disclosure, I used to work for Marvel, which is owned by Disney as ABC is, and I can confirm that one of the perks while I was there was free tickets to the parks. High-profile employees and executives get even juicier perks like access to private restaurants and cutting lines. Obviously, you lose those once you’re no longer an employee.

But, unless you did something illegal at one of the parks, why would any former employees be banned from the parks altogether? According to the New York Post, Disney did not have a response to that question. But this feels extreme, even considering the messy situation surrounding Holmes and Robach’s firing.

James joked that they should all dress up as Disney characters to sneak in, but Holmes did not want to go as the “bad guy” from The Princess and the Frog, as James suggested: “You’re trying to label me even as a cartoon villain! Goddamn, Matt! You know what I’ve been through?”
