Charlamagne Says Dems Should Be Learning from Trump: ‘Doesn’t Care If It Makes Sense, No Political Correctness Whatsoever!’

Charlamagne Tha God told Democrats to pipe down until they learn a thing or two from President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday.

On Wednesday’s The Breakfast Club, Charlamagne said Trump showed him “what’s politically possible” following Trump’s marathon press conference on Tuesday where Trump turned plenty of heads and riled critics. During the press conference, Trump would not rule out military action to take the Panama Canal and Greenland, complained about household appliances, and vowed to change the name of the Gulf of Mexico to “Gulf of America.”

Charlamagne argued the traditional “language of politics is dead” and the man who killed it is Trump.

Charlamagne said:

Donald Trump shows me what’s politically possible. Trump shows me what presidents can do if they want to do it. Donald Trump shows me what can be said if you are willing to say it. It’s not about what can’t be done; it’s about who has the political will to do it. I don’t want to hear a peep from Democrats about nothing until they get the balls to say what’s really on their mind in regards to this country and this world. Trump doesn’t care if it sounds ridiculous. Trump doesn’t care if it makes sense. It’s no political correctness whatsoever. As I’ve been saying for years, the language of politics is dead, and Donald Trump killed it. Period.

Charlamagne was one of the first on the left to publicly question President Joe Biden’s election chances before Biden dropped out and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris. The radio host has since been plenty critical of Democrats, including recently asking if Biden “quietly quit” the presidency in his final days in office and accusing Democrats of losing the trust of the public.

“The only thing they can hope for is that Republicans implode and ‘f’ things up so bad that the American people are just dying for a change because there is nothing Democrats can say about Republicans that we should believe after they spent weeks calling Trump a fascist and calling Republicans fascists and telling us it would be the end of democracy, only to put a button on all of that,” he said.
