Joe Rogan Reacts to Stunning Video of Top Australian TV Exec Absolutely Torching ‘Deeply Repulsive’ Podcast

Podcaster Joe Rogan reacted on Wednesday to Australian Broadcasting Corporation chairman Kim Williams torching his podcast as a “repulsive” rabbit hole of conspiracies.

While speaking at the National Press Club on Wednesday, Williams was asked about the growing influence of Rogan, citing his large audience and Democratic critics now pointing to Vice President Kamala Harris not appearing on the podcast as a mistake following her loss to President-elect Donald Trump. Trump appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast shortly before the election and Rogan ended up endorsing the Republican the night before the election.

Williams ripped into Rogan, calling his show “repulsive” and accusing the comedian of preying on people’s “vulnerabilities.”

He said:

“I’m not sure I’m the right person to respond to that question. I am not a consumer or an enthusiast about Mr. Rogan and his work. I am not one of the three billion and unlikely to be three billion and one anytime soon. I think people like Mr. Rogan prey on people’s vulnerabilities. They prey on fear. They prey on anxiety. They prey on all of the elements that contribute to uncertainty in society and they entrepreneur fantasy outcomes and conspiracy outcomes as being a normal part of social narrative.”

The Australian Broadcasting Corporation is the national broadcaster of Australia and is primarily funded by taxpayers.

Williams said he looks at Rogan’s success “in disbelief.”

“I personally find it deeply repulsive, and to think that someone has such remarkable power in the United States is something that I look at in disbelief,” he said. “I’m also absolutely in dismay that this can be a source of public entertainment when it’s really treating the public as plunder for purposes that are really quite malevolent.”

Rogan took to X on Wednesday to give his simple, but surprised reaction at being the subject of conversation for Australian media officials.

“LOL WUT,” he wrote in reaction to the video.

Rogan tried putting together a Harris interview before the election too, but those plans did not pan out. Many have begun questioning the podcaster’s future in the media in light of his interview with Trump and following Donald Trump Jr. mentioning that he and his father have discussed people like Rogan and other podcasters could be offered press credentials at the White House.
