‘Let’s Not Go Hysterical Here’: Tomi Lahren Goes To Bat For Elon Musk While Calling for Detente in ‘MAGA Civil War’
Conservative commentator Tomi Lahren has weighed in on the MAGA civil war by throwing her support behind Elon Musk.
Musk has been at the center of a feud with other MAGA notables after calling for more foreign H-1B visa hires in the tech sector — a move considered by many to be downright un-American.
“Jeepers creepers we don’t need a MAGA civil war,” the host of Tomi Lahren is Fearless posted to X on Sunday. “I’m not personally a fan of expanding H-1B visas but doesn’t mean I now want Elon out of the MAGA tent. It’s a big tent. Debate. Disagree. Discuss. But let’s not go hysterical here.”
Earlier, Lahren posted, “We need legal immigration but we don’t need OVER immigration,” continuing:
“We also need to TAX remittances for those who make their money here and send it back to the home country they don’t want to live in but want to subsidize. There’s a reason we are the number one country in the world and millions flock to here, not away from here. There’s nothing wrong with being a jock, or a prom queen, or a rancher, or a janitor, or an electrician. Sure, we could use more engineers but you can say that without taking a giant shit on the American people who don’t happen to have advanced degrees. America first. America always.”
Lahren also posted a “serious question” to her followers:
“For those who seem to want more immigration into this country, what is your cut off? Another 5 million? Another 10 million? 20? 50? How much of the rest of the world would you like to import? Serious question.”
Donald Trump caused an uproar Saturday after siding with Musk over hiring foreign-born tech workers. Trump told The New York Post, “I’ve always liked the visas.”
