Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Gets Drilled in the Head by Kick from Team’s OWN Kicker: ‘Entire Season In One Play’

A Dallas Cowboys cheerleader stole the spotlight after she took an errant kick right to the back of the head during Sunday’s home game against the Washington Commanders.

The Cowboys finished a disappointing season with a 23-19 loss to their biggest rival, but not before the team’s kicker Brandon Aubrey booted a ball out of bounds only to see it connect with the Cowgirl.

A cameraman tried to deflect the ball but it struck the cheerleader squarely in the head, sending her to the ground. She got up right away, though, and with a smile.

To add insult to injury for the cheerleader – whose name had not been confirmed as of the time of publication – the play was flagged for going out of bounds.

Reactions to the awkward incident were a blend of jokes, concern for the cheerleader, and comments about how the moment was indicative of a 2024 that fans had hoped would end in a Super Bowl.

Dallas lost to Washington despite outgunning the Commanders by 109 yards and winning the turnover battle. The team finished its season 7-10. They have not won a Super Bowl since the 1995 season.
