‘No One Cares!’ Brian Kilmeade Rips Biden Revealing He’d Just Became a Great-Grandfather During LA Fires Press Event

President Joe Biden revealed “good news” that he’d just become a great-grandfather at the end of Wednesday’s LA Fires press event in Santa Monica. Fox & Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade was not impressed.

Biden joined California Governor Gavin Newsom to address the unfolding disaster of the Los Angeles fires that have thus far led to five known deaths and the destruction of hundreds, if not thousands, of homes and buildings. A massive evacuation from the fire-raged area is still underway, and ongoing Santa Ana winds suggest that the worst of this catastrophe may not be over.

At the end of the event, Biden appeared to lighten the mood and play the part of proud great-grandfather when he said, “The good news is, I’m a great-grandfather as of today. My eldest granddaughter, 10 pounds, 4 ounces, baby girl-baby boy,” he shared. “So I will remember this day for a lot of wrong reasons.”

Some outlets jumped on this detail shared at the end of a press event focused on an unfolding disaster, calling it awkward, while others reported how it “didn’t sit well with MAGAworld.” Kilmeade showed the new great-grandfather little grace for proudly talking about his own personal life and not taking questions from the press at such a grave moment.

Coming out of an audio-challenged clip of Biden sharing his great-granddaughter news, Kilmeade did not hold back.

“That statement would not be in any leadership books,” he fumed. “No one cares about your personal thing as president. They care about the thousands of people that had everything lost and the five that are dead. President Biden marking the birth of his first great-grandchild as he takes no questions, which is an insult to the people, not to the press, to the people, while joining Governor Newsom at a news conference yesterday as fire rages across Los Angeles.”
