Jimmy Kimmel Shares Texts From Staff Thirsting Over CEO Killer: ‘Huge Wave of Horny Washing Over Us Right Now’

Jimmy Kimmel shared what he claimed were actual texts between some of his show’s staffers in which many were drooling over suspected killer Luigi Mangione.

Mangione has been charged with the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. The killing has sparked debate about the health insurance industry, and some have even rallied behind Mangione.

“So many women and so many men are going nuts over how good-looking this killer is,” Kimmel said after showing an image of a shirtless Mangione. “There’s a huge wave of horny washing over us right now. It’s like when one of the guys you work with says, ‘I had a dream about you last night.’ When it’s the FedEx guy with the big muscles and the rolled-up sleeves, you’re like, ‘Oh.’ But if it’s the bald IT guy wearing Crocs with black socks, you’re on the phone with HR.”

Kimmel then moved on to texts he claimed were from his show’s staff, changing the names to protect “the guilty.”

“I have never experienced anything like this. These are screengrabs of actual exchanges between members of our staff and their friends, relatives, whatever,” he said.

“Please tell me you’re as obsessed as I am with this handsome CEO killer,” one text read.

“Yes!! So many questions,” the recipient of that first text replied.

“Like, ‘Can I fix you?'” the sender wrote.

“I need him so bad. No like so bad, so so bad,” another text read.

Another text Kimmel said was from the husband of a staffer read: “I’m about to be a jailhouse bride, cause damn shorty is foooiine.”

Yet another found someone saying they’d visit Mangione in jail, bake him cookies, and “perhaps more.”

Kimmel then showed Etsy products centered on Mangione, asking, “What is going on?”

“It’s bananas!” the comedian declared. “But I have to say it does feel kinda good – we’re moving away from nonstop election coverage, and back to drooling over a cold-blooded murderer’s eyebrows and abs.”
